A couple of decent things worth knowing:
Eid al Adha
- Arafat day followed by two days of Eid Holiday is marked in Dubai by what else but 24-hour shopping. There will also be other activities in the malls. More information here.
- You really should have booked by now, but Cobone still have some Eid deals here. The Jebel Hafeet deal for 999AED and the Rome deal including flights for 3199AED look like the ones.
- Hotels in the region have hiked their prices as usual, but you might still find some decent deals on hotelium.com – In Dubai, Park Hyatt might be nice, with rooms from just over 1500 AED per night. Fujeirah is all but sold out, as is RAK, but Abu Dhabi still has some great prices – Jumeirah Etihad Towers for just over 1000AED per night, and Eastern Mangroves slightly less than that. Emirates Palace at 1500 AED per night.
